Learn how to set up different types of monitors for your services.

The most common monitor type for websites and APIs.

  1. Enter the full URL including protocol (e.g., https://example.com)
  2. Select HTTP method (GET, POST, HEAD)
  3. Set expected status code (usually 200)
  • Request Headers - Add custom headers for authentication
  • Request Body - Include data for POST requests
  • Response Validation - Check for specific content in the response

Monitor services like databases, mail servers, or custom applications.

  1. Enter the hostname or IP address
  2. Specify the port number
  3. Set connection timeout

Verify your DNS records are resolving correctly.

  1. Enter the domain name
  2. Select record type (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, etc.)
  3. Optionally specify expected values
